Paula McHugh is a former feature writer for The Beacher in Michigan City, IN. In her 35-year freelance career, Paula also wrote for Lake Magazine, Chicago Wilderness Magazine
, the Vidette-Messenger (now the Times of NW IN); Dubuque Telegraph-Herald, Freeport Journal-Standard, and many more. She was news manager at WJOD-fm in Galena, IL and hosted a duet of radio talk shows on KDTH-am in Dubuque. Her dunes photography can be found in many private collections.
Paula earned a B.A. from Indiana University and an M.S. Ed. from the University of Wisconsin-Platteville.
